Motor Yacht Arena Eagle
The 80' classic motoryacht Arena Eagle was formerly a private yacht converted to Coast Guard standards by the Heat Group, owners of the Miami Heat basketball team in 2000.
The Arena Eagle, USCG Certified for up to 55 guests, has two spacious decks, the Main Salon with her aft deck climate controlled and great for formal dining up to 32 guests or casul dining, while her 2nd level (fly bridge/sky deck) provides a fantastic way to have a reception and enjoy the ever changing sceneries of South Florida. She boasts a State of the Art Entertainment Center with Stereo Sound throughout the yacht, Satellite Service, Flat Screen TV/DVD/avd VCR and bathroom facilities on both decks.
It is a legendary vessel with an incredible history. Prior to being owned by the American Airlines Arena, it was owned privately by an individual in Washington DC. In the early 1990's the yacht was frequented by the Kennedy's and Jacqueline Onnassis.
Many of the celebrities performing at the Arena would be hosted aboard the yacht and some of the most incredible events and parties have taken place on the teak decks of the Arena Eagle.
The yacht was professionally and painstakenly refit in 2000 and again in 2006. It has been shown in numerous national publications and featured on the recent TV reality show "8th & Ocean". It was in the July 2006 edition of Food & Wine Magazine for the "Hottest Latin Party".
The following VIP's have celebrated their success aboard the yacht: Peace Prize Laureate and former Russian President Mikhail Gorbachev, musical celebrities Kayne West, Jay-Z, Cher, the late Luciano Pavarotti, Gloria Estefan, the Miami Heat players, Pat Riley, modeling agencies and numerous corporations for events of all types.
